He has Mark Ronson is backing him up. Interscope signed him over the summer. And he's made it his mission to put DC on the rap game map. His lyrics are actually meaningful and not about crap. He's also bringing a new mix to rap by combining elements of go go into his music. If you check his myspace, it's got a quote from Rolling Stone saying that "Wale has more crossover appeal than weed"
Make sure you look out for his debut album when it drops. This guy's gonna be something special.
